3. Before and after 5S implementation

Getting started was somewhat challenging, but everyone was determined to make it a habit and looking back, we have made noticeable improvements. The implementation of the 5s methodology has revolutionized our business in a way we have never seen before.

First, we need to talk about the packing rooms – where our products are stored and packed for shipping. The area used to be cluttered with goods, tools and boxes, making it hard for us to find what we want and resulting in delays and inefficiencies, not to mention the hygiene issue. By implementing 5S, we create designated areas for each, so that everything has a specific place. Now, it’s much easier for us to not only locate something but also keep the room clean.

Second, a more organized and efficient workspace is another evident result of the 5S implementation. The overall office environment is made up of individual workspaces, which have gone through a transformation in terms of tidiness. Unnecessary items are discarded and those left are arranged in the right place.
